แก๊งคอลเซ็นเตอร์ เป็นอาชญากรรมทางเศรษฐกิจที่แสวงประโยชน์จากความตื่นกลัว ความโลภ ซึ่งเกิดขึ้นมานานระยะหนึ่งแล้ว แต่ได้ขยายวงอย่างกว้างขวางในประเทศไทย ตั้งแต่ พ.ศ. 2550 ในปัจจุบันเมื่อเทคโนโลยีสมาร์ทโฟนและโมบายแบงก์กิ้งได้รับความนิยมมากขึ้น แก๊งคอลเซ็นเตอร์จึงพัฒนารูปแบบการหลอกลวงเหยื่อด้วยเทคโนโลยีที่ทันสมัยขึ้นจนกลายเป็นอาชญากรรมทางเทคโนโลยี บทความนี้จะอธิบายถึงความเป็นมาของแก๊งคอลเซ็นเตอร์ กลวิธีทางวิศวกรรมสังคมในการหลอกลวงเหยื่อ การหลอกลวงรูปแบบใหม่ของแก๊งคอลเซ็นเตอร์ตามแนวคิดของ Cyber Kill Chain ปัญหาของบัญชีม้า มาตรการป้องกันโดย กสทช. ร่างพระราชกำหนดมาตรการป้องกันและปราบปรามอาชญากรรมทางเทคโนโลยี การทำงานของแอปพลิเคชันปลอม และการป้องกันและรับมือ เพื่อให้เข้าใจกลวิธีหลอกลวงรูปแบบใหม่ และสร้างความตระหนักรู้เพื่อลดความเสี่ยงที่จะตกเป็นเหยื่อโดนหลอกลวงจนต้องสูญเสียทรัพย์สิน
