การศึกษาเปรียบเทียบพฤติกรรมการจัดการตนเองภายหลังผ่าตัดต้อกระจกระหว่าง ผู้ป่วยที่ผ่าตัดแบบไม่นอนโรงพยาบาลและผู้ป่วยที่ผ่าตัดแบบนอนโรงพยาบาล

การวิจัยครั้งนี้ เป็นการวิจัยพรรณนามีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาเปรียบเทียบพฤติกรรมการจัดการตนเองภายหลังผ่าตัดต้อกระจกของผู้ป่วยที่ผ่าตัดแบบไม่นอนโรงพยาบาลและแบบนอนโรงพยาบาล กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้ป่วยที่รับการผ่าตัดต้อกระจกโดยใช้คลื่นเสียงความถี่สูงพร้อมใส่เลนส์แก้วตาเทียม จำนวน 60 ราย รวบรวมข้อมูลโดยแบบสอบถาม ใช้สถิติบรรยายและทดสอบทีแบบสองกลุ่มอิสระวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ผลการวิจัยพบว่า พฤติกรรมการจัดการตนเองของผู้ป่วยผ่าตัดต้อกระจกแบบนอนโรงพยาบาลและผู้ป่วยผ่าตัดต้อกระจกแบบไม่นอนโรงพยาบาลไม่แตกต่างกัน (t=.601 p=.55) แต่เมื่อพิจารณารายข้อพบว่า พฤติกรรมการจัดการตนเองเช่นการล้างมือก่อนเช็ดตา การเช็ดตาจากบริเวณหัวตาไปหางตา การหยอดยาและปลายจุกขวดสัมผัสตา การใช้ที่ครอบตาเมื่อเข้านอน การไม่ให้น้ำเข้าตา การแปรงฟันไม่ส่ายหน้า และการไม่ก้มหน้าต่ำกว่าเอว มีความแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 ดังนั้นพยาบาลควรแนะนำผู้ป่วยที่ผ่าตัดแบบไม่นอนโรงพยาบาล เกี่ยวกับการเช็ดตาที่ถูกต้อง การใช้ที่ครอบตาเมื่อเข้านอน หลีกเลี่ยงการก้มหน้าและการแปรงฟันส่ายหน้าเพื่อป้องกันการเกิดภาวะแทรกซ้อนภายหลังผ่าตัดต้อกระจก
