This study was a predictive correlation study aimed to study the factors affecting chemical pesticides prevention behavior into the body of rice farmers in Kraiklang sub-district, Kongkrailat district, Sukhothai province. The sample was 180 farmers who registered as a rice farmer in Kraiklang sub-district in 2016. A sample of using stratified sampling method. Collection data by using questionnaire the sample of respondents on their own and Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient of 0.72 – 0.83 in the period of operation from 2016 - 2017. The data were analyzed for frequency, percentage, means, maximum, minimum, standard deviation, Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient, Eta Coefficient and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis. The results revealed that the mean score of pesticide prevention behavior was at a high level and found that there are 4 factors affecting chemical pesticides prevention behavior into the body of rice farmers were (1) Self-management skill (2) Perceived severity of exposure to chemical pesticides (3) Decision skill and (4) Time in occupation and predictors of chemical pesticides prevention behavior into the body of rice farmers accounted for 37.4 %. The results of the correlation applied health promotion program to modify behavior and results of the predictors used as a guide in the development of surveillance systems, exposure to chemical pesticides for farmers further.
