Factors Affecting to Health Care in Dependency of Caregivers in Si Satchanalai District, Sukhothai Province

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to study health care in dependency of caregivers and to test factors affecting the health care in dependency of caregivers in Si Satchanalai District, Sukhothai province. The samples were 190 caregivers in Si Satchanalai District, Sukhothai province. They were selected by using a formula to estimate the proportion of caretakers. They were selected by using proportional stratifies random sampling technique, conducted the study from November 2017 to January 2018. In this research, questionnaire was employed for data collection, and the data were analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis.
The study results showed that 72.6% of the caregivers had excellent caregiving approach. Factors affecting caregiving approaches of caregivers were social support for persons with health dependency (Beta=.364, β=1.109), awareness (Beta=.228, β=.454), caregiving period (Beta=-.230, β=-.452), age (Beta=.168, β=.178), caregiving knowledge (Beta=-.138, β=-.852) and educational level (Beta=.134, β=13.632). These factors can jointly predict caregiving approaches of caregivers of persons with health dependency with probability of 39.1 percent at statistical significance level of 0.05. The suggestions of this study are caregivers should be supported. About information correct health care to increase the efficiency of care for people with health dependence.
