Using Mobile Application for Stroke Screening in Risk Groups

Abstract
In Thailand, stroke has become a major public health concern which reported in high mobility. This may lead to the motor system and also bodily malfunctions which may result in paralysis, palsy and, eventually, and death. Therefore, the purpose of this article was to present the methods on stroke screening especially for the risk groups which included people with hypertension, diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia, and obesity. In addition, this article compared the using of a method that tests an individual patient’s risk factors by noting down and calculating and using a Mobile Application to screening on their smart phones. Using mobile application in risk groups currently becomes an available option, in which people in the risk groups can screening themselves on smartphones. It is very accurate and useful for determining the risk factors for people in the risk groups. Therefore, this mobile application is recommended for people who in the risk group to screening themselves and avoid the possibility to have the stroke in the future.
