The Educational Achievement in Curriculum of Thai Traditional Medicine for Thai Traditional Medicine Students Conducted by Inclusive Education

Abstract

          The purpose of this descriptive research was to 1) compare the educational achievement which  were  managed  concomitantly  among 2 nd and 3 rd year Thai traditional medicine students conducted by Inclusive Education for Thai traditional medicine 1 and practicing in  midwifery for Thai traditional medicine 1 and 2) examine the relationship between the educational achievement which were managed concomitantly among 2nd and 3rd year Thai traditional medicine students for Thai traditional medicine 1 and  practicing in midwifery for Thai traditional medicine 1.  The 55 participants were recruited from 2nd year Thai traditional medicine students and the 41 participants were recruited from 3rd year Thai traditional medicine students in Sirindhorn College of Public Health, Phitsanulok that studying in midwifery for Thai traditional medicine 1 and practicing in midwifery for Thai traditional medicine 1. The instruments were 1) Lesson plans of Inclusive Education 2) the test for identifying the achievement of   midwifery for Thai traditional medicine 1 3) the test for identifying the achievement of Practice in midwifery for Thai traditional medicine 1 and 4) the check lists for test to skill in midwifery of Thai traditional medicine. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistic (frequency), percentage, independent t-test and Pearson’s product moment Correlation.


          The results found that: the educational achievement of practice in midwifery for Thai traditional medicine 1 conducted by Inclusive Education from 3rd years students was higher than 2nd years Thai traditional students with statistical significant at the level of .01 (p<.01), and the relationship of achievement between midwifery for Thai traditional medicine 1, practicing in midwifery for Thai traditional medicine 1 presented  positive relationship with higher level .01 (p<.01).
