Abstract
The purpose of this experimental research was to study the effect of simulation base learning
on primary nursing care of nursing students at Boromarajonani College of Nursing Uttaradit in
academic year 2014. The subjects of 60 students were selected by random sampling from the
population. Then they were randomly divided into an experimental group and control group. Each
group was consisted of 30 students. The experimental group was exposed to simulation on the ability
development of primary medical care practicum. The control group was not exposed to simulation.
The instruments were the ability development of primary medical care practicum test and simulation
program. The data were analysed by t-test. The results were as follows:
1. The ability development of primary medical care practicum of the students were exposed
to the simulation significantly increased than the experiment at .05 level.
2. The ability development of primary medical care practicum of the students were exposed to
the simulation was significantly higher than the others that was not exposed to the simulation at .05 level.
