A Systematic Review: Prevention against Child and Adolescents Alcohol Consumptions in Thailand

This systematic review aimed to study a prevention against child and adolescence alcohol consumptions in Thailand, based on Joanna Briggs Institute’s concept. This 10-year period review consisted in collecting data from an electronic database, such as ThaiJO, TDC-ThaiLIS, Google scholar, PubMed and Sci-direct, from 2011 to 2021. Descriptive statistics and content analysis were performed.
The research results showed a total of 97 studies, among which 78 studies were excluded and 19 of them were considered. Finally, 17 studies were meeting the inclusion criteria on prevention styles for child and adolescents alcohol consumptions in Thailand. This findings that the most common prevention style, among students in primary and secondary school, were discussion groups, role-plays, role models and situation-based lifestyle practicing.
This review can be used as guidelines for prevention against child and adolescence alcohol consumptions in Thailand.
