The quasi-experimental research aims to study a result of teaching by simulation-based learning using experts’ experience in developing competency of knowledge, critical thinking, problem solving and nursing skills.  The participants of this study were 127 third years nursing students who had enrolled Nursing Practicum II in the year 2020, at Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Lampang Faculty of Nursing, Praboromarajchanok Institute.  Purposive sampling had been divided into two groups whose 64 persons were in first arms that got EBE teaching for two weeks and normal teaching for two weeks while those 63 persons got normal teaching for four weeks.  Instrument included three sections of surveys: 1) knowledge evaluation forms, 2) critical thinking and problem- solving evaluation forms, and 3) nursing skills evaluation forms. Quantitative data were analysed using descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing statistics were used independent and dependent t-test.

The result was found the average score of the Knowledge skill, critical thinking and problem-solving, and nursing skill mean scores of the experimental group were higher than control group with p-value <0.05. Research suggests that should be used EBE teaching all of nursing practicum subject for development of nursing skills.
