The Competence of Nurses in the Provision of Vaccine Services to Prevent Coronavirus 19

In the situation of the corona virus 19 epidemic, nurses play an important role in providing nursing services to coronavirus patients and preventing disease for at-risk individuals. This article presents the role of nurses in the provision of vaccine services for the prevention of Coronavirus 19 based on practical experience in vaccination centers and literature reviews. Five roles included: 1) planning for vaccination service, 2) risk assessments by screening risk assessment and vaccination consent form, 3) vaccine preparations, 4) vaccine injection technique and 5) observations of vaccine side effects.
Nurses should review their roles in order to be able to provide effective vaccination services for the prevention of coronavirus disease 2019 and in accordance with the organization's policy and for the benefit of the service recipients.
