ผลของโปรแกรมการฟื้นฟูทางจิตสังคมต่อการทำหน้าที่ของผู้ที่มีโรคอารมณ์สองขั้ว

วัตถุประสงค์ : เพื่อทดสอบผลของโปรแกรมการฟื้นฟูทางจิตสังคมต่อการทำหน้าที่ของผู้ที่มีโรคอารมณ์สองขั้ว
วิธีการ : การวิจัยแบบทดลองมีกลุ่มควบคุม ในผู้ป่วยในโรคอารมณ์สองขั้วระยะอาการสงบ 40 คน กลุ่มทดลอง (n = 20) ได้รับการดูแลตามปกติร่วมกับโปรแกรมการฟื้นฟูทางจิตสังคมที่ประยุกต์แนวคิดการคืนสู่สุขภาวะร่วมกับการบำบัดสัมพันธภาพระหว่างบุคคลและจังหวะทางสังคม ประกอบด้วยกิจกรรมส่งเสริมความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับโรค การรักษา และอาการเตือน รวมทั้งการฝึกทักษะการจัดการอารมณ์และการวางแผนชีวิต จำนวน 5 ครั้ง ดำเนินการ 1 ครั้งต่อวัน ติดต่อกัน 5 วัน กลุ่มควบคุม (n = 20) ได้รับการดูแลตามปกติ ประเมินความบกพร่องในการทำหน้าที่ก่อนการทดลองและภายหลังสิ้นสุดโปรแกรม 1 เดือนด้วยแบบประเมินการทำหน้าที่ฉบับย่อ ครอบคลุมด้านการพัฒนาตนเอง การทำงาน การรู้คิด การเงิน สัมพันธภาพ และการใช้เวลาว่าง เปรียบเทียบคะแนนเฉลี่ยระหว่างกลุ่มด้วย independent t-test และภายในกลุ่มด้วย paired t-test
ผล : ก่อนการทดลอง กลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุมมีลักษณะพื้นฐาน ความรุนแรงอาการแมเนียและซึมเศร้า และความบกพร่องในการทำหน้าที่โดยรวมไม่แตกต่างกัน (mean = 59.58, SD = 10.12 และ mean = 58.20, SD = 9.64 ตามลำดับ) ภายหลังการทดลอง กลุ่มทดลองมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยความบกพร่องในการทำหน้าที่โดยรวมต่ำกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (mean = 36.65, SD = 7.71 และ mean = 42.15, SD = 8.11 ตามลำดับ; t = -2.198, p = .034) โดยทั้งสองกลุ่มมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยลดลงจากก่อนการทดลองอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (t = 6.716, p < .001 และ t = 6.000, p < .001 ตามลำดับ)
สรุป : โปรแกรมการฟื้นฟูทางจิตสังคมช่วยลดความบกพร่องในการทำหน้าที่ของผู้ที่มีโรคอารมณ์สองขั้วได้ดีกว่าการดูแลตามปกติเพียงอย่างเดียว สามารถใช้เป็นแนวทางเสริมเพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการฟื้นฟูสมรรถภาพด้านการทำหน้าที่ของผู้ป่วย
