Evaluation of Research and Academic Writing Training for Personnel: Institute for Urban Disease Control and Prevention.

Abstract
This survey research utilizes a quantitative methodology. The objectives of this study were: 1) to examine the level of personnel satisfaction with a research writing training program within the context of urban disease control and prevention; and 2) to compare the average satisfaction levels based on personal factors, including gender, age, educational background, current position, job classification, and functional line.
The sample group consisted of 35 personnel from the Institute for Urban Disease Control and Prevention who participated in the New Researcher and Innovator Potential Development Project. The research instrument was a satisfaction questionnaire, which achieved an Index of Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) of 0.83. Data collection was conducted via an electronic questionnaire (Google Forms) immediately following the completion of the project. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, including percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Inferential statistics, specifically t-test and One-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), were employed for hypothesis testing.
The findings revealed that 100% of participants demonstrated an increase in knowledge after the training In terms of satisfaction, the overall level was at the highest (x̄ = 4.90, S.D. = 0.27). When considering each dimension, the highest satisfaction was found in the process dimension, which was also at the highest level (x̄ = 4.94, S.D. = 0.24), followed by the lecturer dimension (x̄ = 4.91, S.D. = 0.28), the curriculum dimension (x̄ = 4.89, S.D. = 0.32), and the venue and facilities dimension (x̄ = 4.86, S.D. = 0.35), all of which were rated at the highest level of satisfaction. The comparative analysis indicated that satisfaction levels towards the training program differed significantly based on current position, job classification, and functional line at a statistical significance level of p < 0.05.
