Role and perceiving of the district quality of life development committee to reduce inequality of people in public health region 3

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1. to study the level of participatory practices in roles of the district quality of life development committees and 2. to study the level of physical and mental, emotional, social changes. The methodology was mixed method research design. The group 1: General committees used simple random sampling 3 districts from each 5 provinces and used purposive sampling to select 21 samples per district and Group 2: the district quality of life development committees used simple random sampling 1 sample per district. Data were collected during October 2021-September 2022. The results shown that 62.06 percent of 290 respondents were the government sector, followed 20.68 percent were the public sector. The satisfaction in participatory practices in roles of the district quality of life development committee 45.70 percent were at the highest level, 39.10 percent were at the moderate level, and the overall were at moderate (Mean = 31.21, S.D. = 0.71). The level of participatory practices roles shown the average was low. The domain of the resource fulfilment was at low level (Mean = 2.08, S.D. = 0.71). The analysis of the regression coefficient of the role of the district quality life development committee found that the participatory practice roles and reduce inequality was positive impact (b = .49) at 24.0 percent (R² = .240) (p-value=0.01). The research suggestion for the committee were 1. to develop and improve benefits according to the health security right of population and 2. to monitor the effectively resource management.
