บทคัดย่อ

บทนำ: ภาวะซึมเศร้าในนักศึกษาพยาบาล เป็นปัญหาสุขภาพจิตที่มีผลกระทบโดยตรงต่อการเรียน การดำเนินชีวิต สุขภาพกายทั้งในระยะสั้นและระยะยาว และยังเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญต่อการคิดฆ่าตัวตาย

วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาภาวะซึมเศร้าและปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับภาวะซึมเศร้าของนักศึกษาพยาบาล

ระเบียบวิธีวิจัย: การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาแบบศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ (correlational research design) ครั้งนี้ เป็นการรวบรวมข้อมูลจากประชากร ซึ่งเป็นนักศึกษาพยาบาลจากวิทยาลัยพยาบาล จำนวน 479 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบสอบถามข้อมูลทั่วไปและแบบคัดกรองภาวะซึมเศร้าในวัยรุ่น (The Center for Epidemiologic Studies-Depression) คำนวณค่าสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟาของครอนบาคได้เท่ากับ .74 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ สถิติเชิงพรรณนา สถิติสหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน และสถิติไคสแควร์

ผลการวิจัย: พบว่า นักศึกษาพยาบาลที่มีภาวะซึมเศร้า จำนวน 89 คน (ร้อยละ18.58) ส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง (ร้อยละ 18.16) โดยนักศึกษาพยาบาลชั้นปีที่ 3 มีภาวะซึมเศร้ามากที่สุด (ร้อยละ 5.64) รองลงมาเป็นนักศึกษาพยาบาลชั้นปีที่ 2 (ร้อยละ 5.01) นักศึกษาพยาบาลชั้นปีที่ 1 (ร้อยละ 4.18) และนักศึกษาพยาบาลชั้นปีที่ 4 (ร้อยละ 3.76) และพบว่า เพศมีความสัมพันธ์กับภาวะซึมเศร้าของนักศึกษาพยาบาลอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 ( $gif.latex?x$ ²= 4.36, p < .05) แต่อายุ ระดับชั้นปี เกรดเฉลี่ยสะสม รายได้ บุคคลในครอบครัว ประวัติการเจ็บป่วย และจำนวนกิจกรรมเสริมหลักสูตรไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับภาวะซึมเศร้าของนักศึกษาพยาบาล

ข้อสรุปและเสนอแนะ: งานวิจัยครั้งนี้ พบว่า นักศึกษาพยาบาลมีภาวะซึมเศร้าเกือบร้อยละ 19 ซึ่งถือว่าความชุกค่อนข้างสูง จึงควรได้รับการดูแลช่วยเหลือเบื้องต้น ด้วยการค้นหาสาเหตุเชิงลึก หาแนวทางป้องกัน และแก้ไขปัญหาที่อาจเกิดจากภาวะซึมเศร้า
