บทคัดย่อ

บทนำ: การพัฒนาอาสาสมัครดูแลผู้สูงอายุถือเป็นการจัดการของชุมชนโดยการพัฒนาผู้ที่มีจิตอาสาเข้ามามีบทบาทดูแลผู้สูงอายุ การศึกษาแนวทางการพัฒนาอาสาสมัครจะช่วยพัฒนากำลังคนเพื่อช่วยในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและยั่งยืน

วัตถุประสงค์การวิจัย: เพื่อศึกษาแนวทางการพัฒนาอาสาสมัครดูแลผู้สูงอายุและปัจจัยเงื่อนไขที่ส่งผลให้ชุมชนสามารถพัฒนาอาสาสมัครเพื่อการดูแลผู้สูงอายุในชุมชน

ระเบียบวิธีวิจัย: การศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงชาติพันธุ์วรรณนา แบบเจาะจง คัดเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยวิธีเจาะจง เป็นอาสาสมัครที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการดูแลผู้สูงอายุ 50 คน และผู้สูงอายุและครอบครัว 20 คน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยการสังเกต สัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกและสนทนากลุ่ม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา

ผลการวิจัย: ผลการศึกษา พบว่าแนวทางการพัฒนาอาสาสมัครดูแลผู้สูงอายุโดยชุมชนในพื้นที่ศึกษา มี 7 แนวทาง คือ 1) การสร้างโอกาสในการเป็นอาสาสมัครดูแลผู้สูงอายุ 2) การพัฒนาศักยภาพอาสาสมัครดูแลผู้สูงอายุ 3) การสร้างทีมและเครือข่ายอาสาสมัครดูแลผู้สูงอายุ 4) การพัฒนาและใช้ข้อมูลผู้สูงอายุเพื่อพัฒนาอาสาสมัครดูแลผู้สูงอายุ 5) การหนุนเสริมของหน่วยงานเพื่ออำนวยความสะดวก และเสริมแรงในการทำงานของอาสาสมัคร 6) การสร้างกฎ ระเบียบ ข้อตกลง แนวปฏิบัติของพื้นที่เพื่อหนุนเสริมการดำเนินกิจกรรมของอาสาสมัครและ 7) การสร้างการเรียนรู้ให้แก่อาสาสมัครในพื้นที่และผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการดูแลผู้สูงอายุอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยมีปัจจัยเงื่อนไข ด้านคน วิธีการทำงาน งบประมาณและทรัพยากร และข้อมูล เป็นกลไกสนับสนุนให้ชุมชนสามารถพัฒนาอาสาสมัครดูแลผู้สูงอายุ

สรุปผล: การศึกษาครั้งนี้แสดงให้เห็นถึงแนวทางการพัฒนาอาสาสมัครดูแลผู้สูงอายุโดยชุมชนและปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการพัฒนาอาสาสมัครดูแลผู้สูงอายุเพื่อสนองตอบความต้องการที่จำเป็นในการดูแลสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุ

ข้อเสนอแนะ: จากการศึกษาครั้งนี้สามารถให้ข้อเสนอแนะแก่ชุมชน ได้แก่ องค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น ผู้นำท้องที่ กำนัน ผู้ใหญ่บ้าน หน่วยบริการสุขภาพและภาคประชาชนในการพัฒนากำลังคนด้านอาสาสมัครที่สอดคล้องกับความต้องการการดูแลของผู้สูงอายุในแต่ระดับและการสร้างวัฒนธรรมความเอื้ออาทรของคนในชุมชนร่วมดูแลผู้สูงอายุได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
