Factors related to community hospital administration outcome which pass or not paww the Hospital Accreditation Evaluation : In a case study of two community hospital of Chiangmai Province.

Abstract

This study was a qualitative research in two community hospital of Chiangmai province. The study
was conducted in February 2007 by in - depth interview and focus group discussion with directors of
community hospital, community hospital coomittees, medical staff and patients. The study was aimed
to khow about community hospital managment outcome and also to undertand about influencing factors
related to community hospital mangement outcome. The community hospital which passed hospital
accreaitation evaluation had better managment outcome were because of competency leadership,
experience of hospital diector, sincere participation of health - care tea, unshakable relation of the staff
with hospitak, effective community relatioship management of complain, using of managerial informtion,
attractive incentive for health - vare worker and effectiveness of health - care service. The community
hospital which passed hospital accredotation evaluation had positive mangement factors more than the
other that did not pass the evaluation.
