Clinical features and courese of leptohpirosis after flood on 19 -24 August 2006 in NAN province

Abstract
During and outvresk of leptospirosis after flood on 19 - 24 August 2006 in Nan province. There was a lot of patients suspected leptopirosis came to Nan hospital. This descriptive study aimed to atudy the clinical features and courses of leptospirosis. There was 37 patiens with serologically diagnosed leptospirosis were seen in Nan hospital, 24 patients (64.9%) were found with clinical of acute febrile illness and 13 patients in organ involvement group 7 (53.8%) had one organ involvements, 3 (23.1%) had two organs involvement and 3 had three organs involvement. Renal involvement occurred in 7 patients (53.8%), hematologic involvement in 6 patients (46.2%), hepatic involvement in 4 patients (30.8%), cardiac involvement in 2 patients (15.4%) and pulmonary involvement
itn 3 patients (23.1%). We found 8 patients in organ involvement group had severe complications, which were acute oliguric renal failure, hypotension, ARDS and pulmonary hemorrhage and 1 of these patient was died. We found that server complications in this study had statistic relation with organ involvement, thrombocytopenia and rising of serum creatinin.
