ผลของโปรแกรมการจัดการกับอาการต่อความเหนื่อยล้าของผู้ดูแลผู้พิการติดเตียงที่บ้าน

การวิจัยครั้งนี้ เป็นการวิจัยแบบกึ่งทดลอง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมการจัดการกับอาการต่อความเหนื่อยล้าของผู้ดูแลผู้พิการติดเตียงที่บ้าน กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้ดูแลหลักของผู้พิการติดเตียงที่บ้าน จำนวน 44 คน เป็นกลุ่มควบคุม 22 คน กลุ่มทดลอง 22 คน กลุ่มควบคุมได้รับการดูแลตามปกติ กลุ่มทดลองได้รับโปรแกรมการจัดการกับอาการและการดูแล ซึ่งโปรแกรมนี้ผู้วิจัยได้พัฒนาขึ้นจากแบบจำลองการจัดการกับอาการของ Dodd et al. (2001) ประกอบด้วย 4 ขั้นตอน (1) การประเมินความต้องการและประสบการณ์การรับรู้ของผู้ดูแล (2) การพัฒนาศักยภาพในการจัดการกับอาการ (3) การจัดการอาการด้วยตนเองที่บ้าน และ (4) การประเมินผล เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ได้แก่ แบบสอบถามข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลของผู้ดูแลผู้พิการที่บ้าน และแบบประเมินความเหนื่อยล้าของผู้ดูแลผู้พิการที่บ้าน ที่พัฒนาขึ้นจากแบบวัด Piper Fatigue Mode (Piper et al., 1998) ซึ่งมีค่าความเที่ยงสัมประสิทธิ์อัลฟาของครอนบาค เท่ากับ .94 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติพรรณาและสถิติทดสอบที ผลการวิจัยพบว่า คะแนนความเหนื่อยล้าของผู้ดูแลผู้พิการติดเตียงที่บ้านกลุ่มทดลองหลังได้รับโปรแกรมการจัดการกับอาการ 4 สัปดาห์ และ 8 สัปดาห์น้อยกว่าก่อนได้รับโปรแกรม ฯ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 และคะแนนความเหนื่อยล้าของผู้ดูแลผู้พิการติดเตียงที่บ้านกลุ่มทดลองหลังได้รับโปรแกรม 4 สัปดาห์และ 8 สัปดาห์น้อยกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
