ความฉลาดทางโภชนาการกับการสร้างสุขภาพในผู้สูงอายุ

บทคัดย่อ

ผู้สูงอายุเป็นวัยที่มีความเสี่ยงต่อภาวะทุพโภชนาการสูง ความเสื่อมถอยทางร่างกายตามวัย ทำให้ผู้สูงอายุมีความไวต่อสิ่งกระตุ้นภายนอก เกิดโรคได้ง่าย การได้รับโภชนาการที่ดีและเหมาะสมกับวัย จะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อผู้สูงอายุ อาหารและโภชนาการที่ดีจะสามารถป้องกันหรือชะลอการเกิดโรคต่าง ๆ และยังช่วยลดภาระค่าใช้จ่ายด้านสาธารณสุข โรคในผู้สูงอายุสามารถป้องกัน ปรับเปลี่ยน หรือแก้ไขได้ด้วยโภชนาการที่ดี ความรู้ด้านโภชนาการไม่เพียงแต่จะสร้างสุขภาพในผู้สูงอายุเท่านั้น แต่ยังช่วยทำให้คุณภาพชีวิตในผู้สูงอายุดีขึ้นด้วย นอกจากนี้ ความฉลาดทางโภชนาการ เป็นสิ่งสำคัญอย่างมาก ในการช่วยลดปัจจัยเสี่ยงในการเกิดโรคในผู้สูงอายุ ดังนั้น จะเห็นได้ว่าภาวะโภชนาการในผู้สูงอายุมีความสำคัญต่อสุขภาพของผู้สูงอายุ การได้รับความรู้ด้านโภชนาการอย่างถูกต้อง จะทำให้ผู้สูงอายุเข้าถึงข้อมูลด้านโภชนาการ และเกิดการพัฒนาภาวะโภชนาการของตนเองอย่างเหมาะสม เป็นการสร้างสุขภาพและลดความเสี่ยงการเกิดโรคด้วยโภชนาการที่ดี
