Main Article Content
Abstract
This article presents the development and application of an organizational communication strategy that focuses on prevention and control of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in the organization. The main strategy is “Meet the PBRI President Vichai”, which is a direct communication process between personnel and executives to create a culture that supports health awareness and personnel participation in health promotion activities. The “7-Color Life Traffic Ping-Pong” tool is used to help personnel continuously and effectively monitor and adjust their health behaviors. This strategy not only improves personnel health, reduces absenteeism, reduces budget expenditure, and creates unity within the organization, but also enables personnel to fully demonstrate their potential to support the organization’s long-term vision and serve as a health model for other organizations. A positive outcome of this strategy is that personnel can apply the knowledge they have gained to promote the health of their families, communities, and society. This article also discusses the conceptual framework, practices, and positive outcomes of this communication strategy, and provides guidelines for its application in other organizations.
