Thai herbs and oral health "Selectable value"

Abstract

          Oral health problems are liable to concern in public health service and affect the physical health. Pain of oral lesions are causing the food mastication problem. The loss of teeth can be affect to result of lacking nutrients, causing the decrease of body muscle mass and muscle strength (Sarcopenia). Also, these problems continue to affect the effective of the main abilities in daily life and effects to the quality of life and increases the risk of death from other complications. Nowadays, people are increasingly interested in using herbs. One of the most important is prevention and treatment of oral diseases such as the prevention of dental caries, relieved the inflammation of oral ulcers or gingivitis. This article therefore compiles herbs in how to use herbs to be promoting a good dental health with various methods. The results of compiling and composing herbs according to the properties of herbs can be grouped into three major groups, as follow 1)  Herbs that help to promote and prevent oral diseases. 2) Herbs that help treat symptoms occurring within the mouth. 3) Herbs that help to restore and rehab of oral conditions. The promoting of this value information of using Thai herbs to public can be the important knowledge transmitting that can promote healthy in daily life. Also, can be one of the keys to preventing diseases and developing immunity.
