บทคัดย่อ
การคุมกำเนิดของผู้หญิงแรงงานข้ามชาติเมียนมาร์เชื้อสายมอญตามมุมมองด้านเพศภาวะที่ส่งผลต่อการดำเนินงานด้านการวางแผนครอบครัว มี 3 ประเด็นหลักคือ 1) ไม่รู้ว่าผู้ชายสามารถคุมกำเนิดได้ 2) รู้ว่าผู้ชายคุมกำเนิดได้แต่เชื่อว่าผู้ชายไม่ยอมทำ 3) รู้ว่าผู้ชายคุมกำเนิดได้แต่ไม่สามารถต่อรองให้ผู้ชายทำได้ การมีลูกสำหรับผู้หญิงแรงงานข้ามชาติเมียนมาร์เชื้อสายมอญไม่ใช่เพียงแค่การสืบเผ่าพันธุ์เพราะลูก คือส่วนเติมเต็มคุณค่าความเป็นผู้หญิงมอญตามความเชื่อของคนมอญ เนื่องจากการมีลูกหลายคนแสดงว่าแม่มีความแข็งแรงและมีบุญวาสนา ดังนั้นการคุมกำเนิดต้องพิจารณาเรื่องนี้ประกอบด้วย ทั้งนี้วิธีการคุมกำเนิดที่เลือกใช้ต้องกระทบต่อการทำงานและรายได้ของครอบครัวให้น้อยที่สุดและหลังหยุดการคุมกำเนิดแล้วต้องไม่มีปัญหาเรื่องการมีบุตรยาก
