Challenges of Nurses in the HIV Prevention among Male Adolescents

Abstract
High-risk sexual behaviours among adolescent is considered to be at a high level. It appears from studies addressing the issue to be related to access to pornography, as well as the use of alcohol and substances The work to reduce risky sexual behaviours and to increase HIV prevention among this group needs to be specific, emphasizing the involvement of families and communities, in particular, the use of role models or idols, as they can greatly influence the behaviour of adolescents. It is necessary to raise awareness around protection and increase skills around condom use, in order to impact positively on the sexual health behaviour. Nurses could be challenged in HIV prevention among male adolescents. However, understanding of factors surrounding male adolescents would be influence on prevention project to be an effective work.
