Nursing Care for Patients with Mild Traumatic Brain Injuries: The Role of Emergency Nurses
Abstract
This article aims to: 1) know the importance of assessing mild traumatic brain injury. 2)Guidelines for caring for patients with mild brain injuries who received treatment in the emergency room. The concept of standard care for mild traumatic brain injury care is introduced. Become a guideline for caring for patients with mild brain injuries. That needs to be cared for in the emergency room to prevent secondary traumatic brain injury
Essential care for patients with mild traumatic brain injury who receive treatment in the emergency room includes the pathophysiology of after traumatic brain injury, severity classification, competencies and roles of nurses in caring of patients with mild brain injuries include: initial assessment, monitoring, and discharge from the emergency room to appropriately prevent and reduce the risk of complications from secondary traumatic brain injury.
