Knowledge Management Model through Development of Guideline in Writing a Research Proposal from External Funding Sources

Abstract

           Knowledge management (KM) of an organization is a significant tool inventing new knowledge to develop both human resource potentials and work outputs of the organization. The aim of this work is to present a guideline for writing proposal composing to achieve research grant from external funding resource. This guideline use knowledge management (KM) that everyone in organization participated and share both tacit and explicit knowledge based on KM knowledge.  There were 3 dimensions of the KM triangle: 1) body of knowledge, 2) process of knowledge, and 3) participation of people in organization integrated with process of KM. Moreover, four domains of writing research proposal to achieve external funding resource including 1) preparation of developing research proposal, 2) study of writing research proposal to succeed external funding resource, 3) managing a research team and resource to develop research proposal, and 4) preparedness to submit external research funding depending on condition of submission. This guide helps novice researchers to write research proposal in achieving external funding resource and in building new knowledge for researchers to be beneficial for communities and organization.
