Abstract
This descriptive research aims to 1) To study knowledge, self-care behaviors and self-management behaviors in patients with chronic kidney disease Pre- Dialysis Chronic Kidney Disease Patients 2) To study the relationship between personal factors, knowledge, self-care behaviors and self-management behaviors 3) To study the predictive factors affecting self-management behavior. The sample group is patients with chronic kidney disease stage 3b-5, 120 patients at Mae Tha Hospital, Lampang. TheData were collected by using a questionnaire. Analyze the data by Percentage, mean and standard deviation, Pearson's Product Moment correlation coefficient and Stepwise Multiple Regression analysis.
The results was found that knowledge and self-care behaviors. They were able to jointly explain the statistical significance of the variability of self-management behavior among patients with chronic kidney disease in the pre-renal replacement therapy stage. Accounted for 23.5 percent of self-management behaviors. (R2 = 0.23, F = 17.97 , p < 0.01). The self-care behavior had the greatest influence on the variance of self-management behavior with statistical significance. (β = 0.33 , p < 0.01). followed by knowledge (β = 0.23 , p < 0.05). The disease stage had no influence on the variability of self-management behavior. (β = -.0.2 , p < 0.05). Benefits for health workers. as a guideline for information management and care planning for chronic kidney disease patients Slowly entering the kidney replacement therapy phase
