Analysis of Caring System for New Diabetes Patients in Lampang Province

The main objective of this study is to explore the status of medical caring system for new diabetes patients in Lampang Province. There are 5 sample groups in this survey consisting of 49 diabetes patients, 40 Pre-diabetes, 16 health care providers, 8 village health volunteers and community leaders. Data were collected by Semi-structure interview during July – August, 2020. The statistics methods of percentage, mean, standard deviation are used for quantitative analysis while the content analysis was served for quality analysis.
The result revealed that there are currently 5 schemes of diabetes healthcare system have been implemented in Lampang Province consisting of 1) Implement the good governance in driving the chronic disease policy, 2) Information system and technology. 3) Health personnel, 4) Budget and resources and 5) Organization of health services for diabetics. In addition, interpolate-health promotion strategies of patients were 1 Advocate the appropriate information for planning, prominently display of community participation which recommends for sustainable problem solving, 2 Skill developments for public health personnel and Self-Management in diabetes patients, 3 construct a good community health team integrated with leadership, local government organizations, and provided financial supports for diabetes patients care in the community. Those matters are for individual, family, and community able to take care and manage their health problems by themselves.
