Management of Patients Care to Transferred from the Ward for Special Inspection

There are patients in the ward. Many people who are diagnosed with non-mobile medical devices then patients must be examined for special inspection room. In the course of an accident, intubate or arrest may be required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. Management of patient care from the ward to special screening will help prevent the incidence of adverse events. The purpose of this research was to 1) to develop a patient management approach to transfer from the ward for special inspection. 2) to monitor the results of patient care management before referral from the ward for special inspection. This study is action research, research samples consisted of 1) 5 professional nurses, including male-medicine1 orthopedic1 ophthalmologist burn unit and cardiac care unit. 2) Inpatients at 5 units in Lampang Hospital. The tool of research tools were 1) guidelines of management patient care to transferred from the ward for the special inspection. 2) Patient evaluation to transferred form. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics. Results: 1) The patient management approach to the delivery of special inspections covering the activities since before. 2) Pre-assessment of patient care management in special delivery, it found that 1 out of 3 items were evaluated in the management of patients in the special inspection, 33.33 %. For, the process, the total assessments of 8 items failed, 100%. The outcome was not reported after the patient management approach in the special inspection, whereas the structure and process were evaluated, 100%. 54.95% of patients were treated according to the guidelines for management of patients receiving special inspections. Adverse events during referral from ward to special inspection were 0. Recommendations: The development of special inspection delivery results by adding more channels of communication across the organization and should be used in the management of patients who have received special inspections between the ward. It cover Lampang Hospital.
