Abstract

Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever Disease, the problem of Thailand and Lampang. The epidemiological surveillance data were collected by prevention, control of disease and epidemiological in Lampang hospital center. Dengue haemorrhagic fever patients were admitted to Lampang Hospital from the last 5 years (2012 – 2016) found that: an increasing trend of disease rates. This research was cross-sectional study, qualitative attributes, quantitative attribute, positive predictive value, representativeness by searching and reviewing data from the hospital's medical records from January 1 to December 31, 2014. The doctor diagnosed as ICD-10 classification such as: Dengue Fever (A90), Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (A91), Dengue Shock Syndrome (A91), Influenza (J11, J20), Fever Unspecified (R 509) and Viral Infection (B34.9), according to the definition of infectious disease in Thailand. The evaluation of dengue hemorrhagic fever surveillance system of Lampang Hospital found that: The process of data storage, analysis and dissemination systematically. The knowledge is used in the planning, preparation and evaluation of preventive measures and control of public health as well, high sensitivity surveillance system is 100%.Considering the relationship with positive predictive value of surveillance system, and the value was as high as 83.05 percent. Dengue Hemorrhagic fever surveillance system is highly flexible and easy for all levels. It is also acceptable to the practitioner, but there are still some issues in the implementation phase.
