Publication Ethics

Publication Ethics Standards
Ethics for Authors

1. Authors must not submit manuscripts that have been previously published or are under consideration for publication elsewhere.

2. Authors must uphold research ethics and not plagiarize or misappropriate the work of others without proper citation in the manuscript submitted for publication in this journal (overlap with other works must not exceed 20% as checked by CopyCatch software of the Thai Journal Citation Index Centre).

3.Manuscripts must conform to the journal's author guidelines in terms of structure and formatting components (details on the journal website).

4.All co-authors listed must have substantive contributions to the manuscript or research project. The journal reserves the right to retract the publication if any authors did not contribute.

5.Properly cite and attribute any reproduced content, figures, or tables to prevent copyright infringement (journal is not liable). Obtain permission before using private/unpublished data.

6.Ensure accuracy and reliability of all references cited, without excessive or retracted references.

7.Revise manuscripts per reviewer/editor feedback and return by deadlines, or publication may be postponed/retracted.

8.Declare all funding sources and any conflicts of interest.

9.Do not report falsified, fabricated, manipulated or selectively presented data contradicting conclusions.

10..Avoid citing retracted references unless pertaining to the retraction itself, clarifying as such.

11.Human research studies must provide ethics approval documentation to the editor.

Ethics for Reviewers

1. Complete reviews within stipulated timeframes without disclosing manuscript/author details.

2.Decline if conflicts of interest (e.g. co-authors) may bias the free and thorough evaluation.

3.Assess objectively based on importance, novelty, clarity and relevance, not personal views lacking academic substantiation.

4.Suggest important relevant works the authors missed citing.

5.May recommend against publication if clear evidence of plagiarism/duplication and notify the editor.

Ethics for Editors
Toward Authors:

1.Ensure published content upholds research quality standards.

2.Accept/reject decisions based on academic merit, significance, novelty and clarity.

3.Provide clear information on the peer review process.

Toward Reviewers:

1.Provide reviewers clear expectations and updated guidance.

2.Maintain reviewer confidentiality unless open review process agreed beforehand.

Review Process
The journal uses a double-blind peer review where author and reviewer identities are kept confidential during evaluation.

Supporting Academic Rigor
All published research must adhere to accepted ethics standards.
Studies require relevant authority approval; authors must provide ethics approval details.

Protecting Personal Data
Editors have a duty to protect personal identifying information.
Patient consent forms are required if names/images are published, unless general health implications justify disclosure without consent and no objection raised.
