ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความรู้และทัศนคติต่อพฤติกรรมของผู้สูบบุหรี่ ในการป้องกันการสัมผัสควันบุหรี่มือสองให้กับสมาชิกในครอบครัวและชุมชน ตำบลศรีดงเย็น อำเภอไชยปราการ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่

การศึกษาวิจัยนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความรู้ ทัศนคติและพฤติกรรมของผู้สูบบุหรี่ ในการป้องกันการสัมผัสควันบุหรี่มือสองให้กับสมาชิกในครอบครัวและชุมชน และเพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ของความรู้และทัศนคติต่อพฤติกรรมของผู้สูบบุหรี่ ในการป้องกันการสัมผัสควันบุหรี่มือสองให้กับสมาชิกในครอบครัวและชุมชน ตำบลศรีดงเย็น อำเภอไชยปราการ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ ผู้ที่สูบบุหรี่ที่มีสมาชิกในครอบครัวมากกว่าหรือเท่ากับ 2 คน มีอายุ 18 ปี ขึ้นไป จำนวน 120 คน รวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้คือสถิติเชิงพรรณนาและสถิติเชิงอนุมาน หาค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์สเปียร์แมน ผลการศึกษา พบว่า ผู้สูบบุหรี่ส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศชาย (ร้อยละ 90.8) มีอายุระหว่าง 41-59 ปี (ร้อยละ 51.7) ในระยะเวลา 3 เดือนที่ผ่านมาในครอบครัวของผู้สูบบุหรี่มีสมาชิกเจ็บป่วยด้วยโรคทางเดินหายใจมากที่สุด (ร้อยละ 31.7) ผู้สูบบุหรี่ส่วนใหญ่มีความรู้ในระดับดี ร้อยละ 80.8 มีทัศนคติในระดับปานกลาง ร้อยละ 70.8 และมีพฤติกรรมในระดับปานกลาง ร้อยละ 63.3 และพบว่าความรู้มีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับพฤติกรรมของผู้ที่สูบบุหรี่ในการป้องกันการสัมผัสควันบุหรี่มือสองให้กับสมาชิกในครอบครัวและชุมชนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (r = 0.352 , P < 0.01)
ดังนั้นสถานบริการสาธารณสุข หน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง และภาคีเครือข่ายในชุมชนควรมีการอบรมให้ความรู้ เพิ่มการรับรู้เกี่ยวกับความรุนแรงของโรคที่เกิดจากควันบุหรี่มือสอง และกำหนดมาตรการในชุมชน ในการจำกัดการเข้าถึงการสูบบุหรี่
