Objectives The article provide the comparative of the fi rst and improved version of Thai SDQ (Strengths and Diffi culties Questionnaire) ,also how to administer the assessment.
Conclusion Thai SDQ improved version gave benefi t in child and adolescent behavior screening. The article suggest to using the improved version and should be interpreted with the new norms and used under suggested guideline.
Results Thai SDQ improved version was added forth and back translation in development process and already used in the study of new norm with a new cut-point scores in 2004. The
assessment should be using after observed children more than 6 months. It’s non-necessary to complete all 3 forms. the school prevent and promote mental health program should be helping children in a risk and problem group.
