The Effects of Parental personal, Emotional Quatient and Happiness factors on defficient Child Care

The main purpose of this research was to examine the effects of parent and child personal factors, emotional quotient and happiness on intellectual deficient child caring of 268 parents from education and health care centers for intellectual defcient children were two stage randomly selected. The questionnaire consisted of four parts i.e. parent and child personal factors, emotional quotient, happiness, and intellectual deficient child caring. Percentage, mean, standard deviation, unpaired t-test. one-way ANOVA, Pearson's product moment coefficient, and multivariate regression analysis were used for statistical analysis. The major findings were as follow: Emotional quotient and happiness related to intellectual deficient child care. Happiness, self-regulation, decision making ability, the number of intellectual deficient sibling, the number of sibling, Medicine taking by intellectual deficient child and age of intellectual deficient child were together capable to predict intellectual deficient child care of parents for 33.4 percents.Downloads
