Presently there are a variety of tools for clinical practice guidelines development. One of those is the clinical practice guidelines framework from GRADE working group which is nowadays has been worldwide accepted by many organizations especially their method of evaluating the value and certainty of the evidence before making the decision to recommend for the guidelines. Therefore, the translation team aware of this valuable and practical approach, so as to translate this comprehensive checklist of guidelines development into the Thai language to serve as a good resource and reference for those who are interested, especially clinicians, and aimed to develop standardized clinical practice guidelines. The translation team was divided into three groups to translate the original article and then to switch the translated version across the group to re-check for its meaning equivalence with the original English version. The final round is the overall checking by the leader for the meaning equivalence and consistency of the Thai language across the manuscript. Any concerns were discussed to reach the conclusion.
