Implementation of Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for Articles in the Journal of Mental Health of Thailand
The Journal of Mental Health of Thailand is pleased to announce the implementation of the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) system for all articles published in the journal. This initiative aims to elevate the journal to international standards and broaden the accessibility of academic work.
The assignment of DOIs will commence with Volume 33, Issue 3 (September - December 2025) onwards. This implementation is part of the "Thailand DOI Service Center" project, supported by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT). The service will provide DOIs through the internationally recognized Crossref system. The Department of Mental Health, through the Journal of Mental Health of Thailand, is honored to participate as a pilot journal in this project.
Benefits for Authors and the Academic Community:
-
Permanent Linking: A DOI provides a persistent and permanent link to an article, which will remain unchanged even if the journal's website address is relocated in the future.
-
Accurate Citation: It facilitates precise and easily verifiable academic citations.
-
Increased Visibility and Accessibility: Articles with a DOI are more discoverable through international academic databases.
-
Citation Tracking: Authors can more easily and effectively track citations of their work.
The Editorial Board is confident that this advancement will significantly promote the dissemination of academic research in the field of mental health from Thailand, contributing to its wider recognition and impact.
