ผลการรักษาคลองรากฟันในกลุ่มงานทันตกรรม โรงพยาบาลสมเด็จพระพุทธเลิศหล้า จังหวัดสมุทรสงคราม

บทนำ: การศึกษาผลสำเร็จและปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์ในการรักษาคลองรากฟันมีความสำคัญในการนำไปใช้ใน การพยากรณ์โรค และใช้ในการตัดสินใจของทันตแพทย์และผู้ป่วยในการเลือกแผนการรักษาที่เหมาะสมกับผู้ป่วยแต่ละราย โดยเฉพาะเมื่อฟันซี่นั้นมีทางเลือกในการรักษามากกว่า 1 ทาง
วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาผลสำเร็จของการรักษาคลองรากฟันและปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับความสำเร็จในการรักษาคลองรากฟันของกลุ่มงานทันตกรรม โรงพยาบาลสมเด็จพระพุทธเลิศหล้า จังหวัดสมุทรสงคราม
วิธีการศึกษา: เป็นการศึกษาแบบย้อนหลัง ในผู้ป่วยที่ได้รับการรักษาคลองรากฟันเสร็จสิ้น ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2565-31 ธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2567 จำนวน 137 ซี่ ช่วงระยะเวลาติดตามผลการรักษา ตั้งแต่ 7 เดือน 43 เดือน ใช้เกณฑ์ประเมินผลการรักษาจากการตรวจทางคลินิกและภาพถ่ายรังสี โดยประยุกต์จากเกณฑ์ของ Gutmann และนำข้อมูลไปวิเคราะห์ผลโดยใช้สถิติไคสแควร์หรือฟิชเชอร์ กำหนดระดับนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05
ผลการศึกษา: พบว่าผลสำเร็จของการรักษาคลองรากฟันร้อยละ 73 และปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับผลการรักษารากฟันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p-value<0.05) ได้แก่ ชนิดของฟัน (p=0.010) สภาวะของเนื้อเยื่อใน (p<0.001) และสภาวะเนื้อเยื่อบริเวณปลายราก (p<0.001)
สรุป: ผลสำเร็จของการรักษาคลองรากฟันเท่ากับร้อยละ 73 และผลการรักษาล้มเหลวร้อยละ 27 ชนิดของฟัน สภาวะเนื้อเยื่อใน และสภาวะเนื้อเยื่อรอบปลายรากเป็นปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อความสำเร็จของการรักษาคลองรากฟัน
