Established in 1968 as the Bulletin of Chiang Mai Associated Medical Sciences, the journal has served the scientific community for over five decades. In 2017 (Vol. 50), the journal transitioned to its current title, the Journal of Associated Medical Sciences, moving to a fully online, international format to enhance its academic impact.
The Journal of Associated Medical Sciences has been ranked in Tier 1 of the Thai-Journal Citation Index (TCI) since 2015 and in Scopus since 2022.
The Journal of Associated Medical Sciences is the official scientific publication of the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, Thailand. Our primary mission is to provide an international platform for researchers and professionals to disseminate and discuss significant findings, inventions, and innovations in the following areas:
All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process by at least two independent experts. We strive for efficiency, with an average turnaround time from submission to a final decision of 2-4 months, depending on the complexity of the revisions required.

The Journal of Associated Medical Sciences aims to provide a platform for scientists and academicians to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in Medical Technology, Physical Therapy, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Radiologic Technology, and Communication Disorders.
The final decision on publishing a manuscript rests with the Editorial Board and, ultimately, with the Editor. All papers, regardless of type, represent the opinion of the authors and not necessarily that of the Editor, the Association of the Publisher.
