Congratulations to Dr. Sauwaluk Dacha on receiving the award winner entitled the ERS Best Abstract Grant in Physiotherapy 2021 (Sponsored by POWERbreathe) from the ERS International Congress 2021. The award ceremony was held during the Assembly 9 - Allied Respiratory Professionals meeting on August 24, 2021. The oral presentation abstract entitled "Impact of wearing different facial masks on respiratory symptoms, oxygen saturation, and functional capacity during six-minute walk test (6MWT) in healthy young adults" was presented at the European Respiratory Society (ERS) International Congress, virtual platform, session COVID-19: insights from respiratory physiotherapists on September 5, 2021. Dr. Sauwaluk Dacha is a lecturer from the Department of Physical Therapy, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University. Her expertise area is inspiratory muscle training and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.

Congratulations to Dr. Krit Jaikumkao , a lecturer of Department of Radiologic Technology, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, CMU was awarded a winning Poster Presentation in recognition for his research on "Effects of Dapagliflozin on kidney autophagy signaling and pancreatic injury in obese rats fed with high-fat diet" which presented at the 29th Medical Science Symposium 2021 on New Normal Medical Sciences for Thai Health and Economics organized by the Department of Medical Sciences, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand on 25-27 August 2021.

INTERPROFESSIONAL EDUDATION (IPE) on August 7, 2021

On August 7, 2021, the Department of Medical Technology and the Department of Radiologic Technology, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, CMU organized the group activity of “INTERPROFESSIONAL EDUDATION (IPE) 2021” on the topic entitled “The Invisible No, not really none (TB)” via online platform. This activity is for students in the health sciences program included Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Public Health and faculty members from various professions. In this regard, students were given an opportunity to search and review more formation, discuss and share the roles and duties of their profession. All aspects are focusing on patient safety first in order for patients to receive the most effective services and treatments.
