Abstract

Introduction: Simulated learning scenarios facilitate the growth of nursing students’ knowledge, skills, and practical nursing experiences prior to their engagement in real - world patient care settings.

Objective: To provide an overview of concepts and strategies for administering nursing education through the utilization of forum theatre.

Key issues: Fundamental theoretical concepts of learning associated with forum theatre; key strategies of forum theatre; steps in managing nursing education using forum theatre and the role of the instructor in supporting forum theatre learning and examples of applying forum theatre
in nursing education.

Conclusions: The strategy of managing nursing education using forum theatre supports student engagement in learning and hands - on learning in a safe and friendly environment, with instructors facilitating the learning process.

Implications: Forum theatre can be used in both classroom settings and remote learning, and can be applied to nursing across various fields and issues.
