บทคัดย่อ

บทนำ: การจัดการตนเองที่เหมาะสมในผู้สูงอายุต่อมลูกหมากโตจะช่วยให้สามารถดำเนินชีวิตประจำวันร่วมกับโรคเรื้อรังได้ ซึ่งจำเป็นต้องได้รับการให้ความรู้และทักษะที่จำเป็นผ่านการส่งเสริมความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพ

วัตถุประสงค์การวิจัย: เพื่อศึกษาความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพและการจัดการตนเองในผู้สูงอายุต่อมลูกหมากโตและความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพกับการจัดการตนเองในผู้สูงอายุต่อมลูกหมากโต

ระเบียบวิธีวิจัย: การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาหาความสัมพันธ์ โดยกลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นเพศชายอายุ 60 ปีขึ้นไป จำนวน 84 ราย ที่ได้รับการวินิจฉัยจากแพทย์ว่าเป็นต่อมลูกหมากโตระดับรุนแรงเล็กน้อยถึงรุนแรงปานกลาง และยังไม่ได้รับการผ่าตัด เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการรวบรวมข้อมูล ได้แก่ แบบสัมภาษณ์ข้อมูลทั่วไปและข้อมูลการเจ็บป่วย แบบสอบถามความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพในผู้สูงอายุต่อมลูกหมากโต และแบบวัดพฤติกรรมการจัดการตนเองในผู้สูงอายุต่อมลูกหมากโต วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา และสถิติสหสัมพันธ์เพียร์สัน

ผลการวิจัย: ผู้สูงอายุต่อมลูกหมากโตมีความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพและการจัดการตนเอง อยู่ในระดับปานกลางและความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพมีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับการจัดการตนเองในผู้สูงอายุลูกหมากโต ในระดับปานกลาง (r = .422) อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01

สรุปผล: กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีระดับความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง แต่ความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพระดับวิจารณญาณอาจยังไม่เพียงพอ ขาดทักษะในการคิดวิเคราะห์ความน่าเชื่อถือของข้อมูลรวมถึงทักษะในการตัดสินใจในการนำข้อมูลด้านสุขภาพไปปรับใช้ในการดูแลสุขภาพ

ข้อเสนอแนะ: ผลการศึกษาวิจัยนี้บุคลากรทางด้านสุขภาพที่เกี่ยวข้องสามารถใช้เป็นข้อมูลพื้นฐาน ในการวางแผนการดำเนินการเพื่อส่งเสริมการจัดการตนเองในผู้สูงอายุต่อมลูกหมากโตผ่านการส่งเสริมความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพต่อไป
