บทคัดย่อ
วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับความรู้สึกเป็นภาระในการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากของผู้สูงอายุติดเตียง กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้สูงอายุติดเตียง และผู้ดูแลจำนวน 44 คู่ อาศัยอยู่ในอำเภอพยัคฆภูมิพิสัย จังหวัดมหาสารคาม
วัสดุอุปกรณ์และวิธีการ: ศึกษาในช่วงระยะเวลา ธันวาคม 2566 ถึง กุมภาพันธ์ 2567 เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามข้อมูลของผู้สูงอายุติดเตียงและผู้ดูแล แบบสอบถามการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปาก แบบสอบถามความรู้สึกเป็นภาระในการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปาก แบบประเมินความรู้สึกเป็นภาระในการดูแล และแบบตรวจสภาวะสุขภาพช่องปากของผู้สูงอายุติดเตียง
ผล: ผู้สูงอายุติดเตียงเป็นเพศหญิงและเพศชายจำนวนเท่ากัน อายุเฉลี่ย 77.1±10.3 ปี มีจำนวนฟันผุ เฉลี่ย 3.00 ซี่/คน มีฟันโยก เฉลี่ย 0.44 ซี่/คน มีฟันที่ใช้งานได้ เฉลี่ย 11.44 ซี่/คน และดัชนีอนามัยช่องปาก (OHI-S) เฉลี่ย 1.40 และส่วนใหญ่ไม่พบรอยโรคในช่องปาก ผู้ดูแลผู้สูงอายุติดเตียงส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง ร้อยละ 84.1 มีอายุเฉลี่ย 54.3±12.9 ปี
บทสรุป: เมื่อหาความสัมพันธ์ของปัจจัยต่าง ๆ กับความรู้สึกเป็นภาระของผู้ดูแลในการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากของผู้สูงอายุติดเตียง พบว่า รายได้ของผู้ดูแล (p=0.02) การดูแลความสะอาดช่องปากให้ผู้สูงอายุติดเตียง (p=0.01) และความรู้สึกเป็นภาระในการดูแล (p<0.001) มีความสัมพันธ์อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ
