บทคัดย่อ
This study aims to investigate the efficacy of cupping therapy in treating low back pain from a musculoskeletal and muscular perspective, based on principles derived from Traditional Chinese Medicine. Cupping therapy is a technique that involves the use of glass or plastic cups placed on the skin to create suction, which is believed to promote blood flow and Qi in the affected area Helps relieve pain in the body as well.
A comprehensive review of relevant literature was conducted to gather information on the theories and methodologies of cupping therapy in the context of treating low back pain. Both English and Chinese databases were utilized, including PubMed, Web of Science, ThaiJO and Chinese academic journals. Key search terms included "cupping therapy," "low back pain," "Traditional Chinese Medicine," and "musculoskeletal disorders.
The results showed that cupping therapy can be an effective treatment modality for low back pain. The application of cups on specific acupoints on Bladder meridian (GB)and Dumai (DU) meridian stimulates blood circulation, relieves muscle tension, and promotes the body's natural healing mechanisms. It can increase movement efficiency and reduce Low back pain Significantly. Cupping therapy is very safe. It can also be used in conjunction with Acupuncture Tuina massage bleeding or herb to enhance treatment efficiency and increase quality of life.
