ความปลอดภัยและประสิทธิผลเบื้องต้นของตำรับยาครีมเหลืองสุราษฎร์ (เหลืองนรินทร์) และน้ำมันทองนพคุณในการรักษาแผลเบาหวานและแผลกดทับ

บทคัดย่อ
แผลเบาหวานและแผลกดทับเป็นแผลเรื้อรังที่ไม่สามารถหายได้เองตามระยะเวลาของกระบวนการหายของแผลปกติ ซึ่งการรักษาที่รวดเร็วและเหมาะสมช่วยให้แผลหายได้โดยไม่เกิดภาวะแทรกซ้อนที่รุนแรง วัตถุประสงค์ของการศึกษานี้ เพื่อประเมินผลความปลอดภัยและประสิทธิผลเบื้องต้นของตำรับยาครีมเหลืองสุราษฎร์ (เหลืองนรินทร์) และน้ำมันทองนพคุณในการรักษาแผลเบาหวานและแผลกดทับ ณ โรงพยาบาลสังกัดกระทรวงสาธารณสุข จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี จำนวน 14 แห่ง ผลการศึกษาพบผู้ป่วยที่เข้าเกณฑ์การรักษาและมาพบแพทย์ตามนัดครบทั้ง 5 ครั้ง จำนวน 16 ราย มีแผลจำนวน 19 แผล ผลการติดตามด้านความปลอดภัย ไม่พบรายงานเกี่ยวกับอาการไม่พึงประสงค์และอาการแพ้หรือระคายเคืองในผู้ป่วยทุกราย สำหรับผลการรักษา หลังจากติดตามครบ 4 สัปดาห์ พบว่า เกือบทุกแผล (ร้อยละ 90) ที่รักษาด้วยยาสมุนไพรทั้งสองตำรับมีลักษณะแผลที่ดีขึ้น และขนาดแผลเฉลี่ยลดลงทุกสัปดาห์ จึงสรุปได้ว่า ยาจากสมุนไพรทั้งสองตำรับมีความปลอดภัยและมีประสิทธิผลในการรักษาแผลเบาหวานและแผลกดทับ อย่างไรก็ตาม เนื่องจากการศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นการศึกษาเบื้องต้นที่ติดตามสังเกตการณ์การใช้ยาในโรงพยาบาล การศึกษาวิจัยไม่มีส่วนในการตัดสินใจรักษา ดังนั้น ยังต้องการข้อมูลที่เพิ่มขึ้นจากการศึกษาวิจัยทางคลินิก
