การรักษาอาการปวดประสาทไซแอติก (Sciatica) ด้วยการฝังเข็ม ตามศาสตร์การแพทย์แผนจีน

บทคัดย่อ
อาการปวดประสาทไซแอติก สาเหตุที่พบบ่อยที่สุดเกิดจากหมอนรองกระดูกสันหลังโป่งยื่น เป็นปัญหาอย่างหนึ่งที่พบได้บ่อยในกลุ่มอายุ 45-64 ปี โดยประมาณร้อยละ 5-10 ของผู้ป่วยปวดหลังส่วนล่างทั้งหมดมีอาการปวดประสาทไซแอติค ปัจจัยเสี่ยงของการเกิดโรค ได้แก่ อายุ ความสูง น้ำหนักตัว ภาวะเครียด การสูบบุหรี่ การทำงานหนัก โดยเฉพาะการยกของหนักในท่าก้มและการบิดตัว การรักษาในกลุ่ม acute sciatica ได้ผลดีพอสมควร ปัจจุบันพบว่าอาการปวดประสาทไซแอติคนี้มีการนำศาสตร์การแพทย์แผนจีนมาใช้ในการตรวจวินิจฉัยและรักษาด้วยการฝังเข็มและได้ผลเป็นที่น่าพอใจ บทความนี้ได้นำเสนอแนวการตรวจวินิจฉัยโรคและแนวการรักษาอาการปวดประสาทไซแอติกด้วยการแพทย์แผนปัจจุบันและการฝังเข็มตามศาสตร์การแพทย์แผนจีนที่มีการใช้บ่อย
