Medication Dispensation for Psychiatric Outpatient at UKMMC during the COVID-19 Pandemic

บทคัดย่อ

The COVID-19 pandemic and the following public health measures presented a challenge to dispense medications to psychiatric outpatients in a safe and efficient manner. At Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre (UKMMC), two initiatives are implemented as alternative methods for medication dispensation, namely a postal delivery service for medication and a drive through service for medication collection. Standardized workflow was developed for these services. Such initiatives assist in reducing in-person medication collection in outpatient pharmacy and exposure risk to psychiatric outpatients.
