About the Journal
Aims and Scope
The Journal of the Psychiatric Association of Thailand is an academic journal endorsed by the Thai Psychiatric Association. Its primary objective is to publish research findings and articles for the purpose of disseminating knowledge and advancing education in the fields of psychiatry and related disciplines.
The journal welcomes submissions encompassing psychiatry, mental health, psychology, and basic science, including preclinical, clinical, service system, and policy development research that is pertinent to the field of psychiatry. It maintains a dedicated focus on catering to the interests of psychiatrists and a diverse range of healthcare professionals within the mental health sector.
Types of Articles

Peer Review Process
The journal employs a rigorous double-blind peer review process, involving a minimum of two reviewers. Reviewers possess expertise in the subject matter of the articles, maintain a consistent track record of published research, and possess substantial experience in article evaluation to provide valuable constructive feedback for quality enhancement.
Publication Frequency
The journal follows a quarterly publication schedule, with issues released in March, June, September, and December.

Journal History
The Journal of the Psychiatric Association of Thailand has been in operation since the founding of the Psychiatric Association of Thailand in 1953. It initiated journal publication in 1955 and has consistently released four issues annually. The editorial board undergoes elections every two years, in line with the Association's committee elections."
