In addition, the nursing students who participated in this model passed the examination at 54.24% in the first comprehensive nursing examination of adult nursing subject. Moreover, the nursing students’ average score of critical thinking significantly increased (p < .01). The nursing students also passed the second examination at 56.78% and their satisfaction towards the BSCI MODEL in the second evaluation was significantly higher than the first evaluation (p < .01). The qualitative analysis reflected that the BSCI-MODEL was well-defined and completely linked to academic content of adult nursing subject, resulting in better learning outcomes of the nursing students and suitable for using in nursing education management.
