The reliability of the instrument was .80. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistic and correlation analysis of various factors using Pearson’s correlation coefficient.

The results of the research showed that health literacy of the caregivers was at a low level (mean = 13.93, SD = 3.44). Health behaviors of the care givers was at a medium level (mean = 44.49, SD = 4.50). Accessing to the universal health care of care givers was at low level (mean = 22.93, SD = 3.72). In addition, care giver readiness and social support were at a high level (mean = 35.77, SD = 4.08). The results of the relationship analysis showed that the health literacy level of the care givers had a positive relationship with the health care behaviors of the caregivers, accessing to universal coverage for the care givers, and  care giver readiness and social support yielding statistical significance at .01 with correlation coefficient (r) equal to .30, .24, and .26 respectively.
