บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนานี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา (1) ระดับการเตรียมความพร้อมก่อนเข้าวัยสูงอายุ (2) ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการเตรียมความพร้อมฯ และ (3) ปัจจัยทำนายการเตรียมความพร้อมฯ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ บุคคลก่อนวัยสูงอายุ 261 คน เครื่องมือวิจัย ได้แก่ (1) แบบสอบถามข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล (2)แบบสอบถามความคาดหวังเมื่อก้าวสู่วัยสูงอายุ ค่า CVI .89 ค่าความเชื่อมั่น .94 และ (3) แบบสอบถามการเตรียมพร้อมก่อนเข้าสู่วัยผู้สูงอายุ ค่า CVI .86 ค่าความเชื่อมั่น .96 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา Chi-square สัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ของเพียร์สัน และวิเคราะห์ถดถอยพหุคูณแบบมีขั้นตอน
ผลวิจัย พบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่าง มีระดับการเตรียมความพร้อมก่อนเข้าวัยสูงอายุ อยู่ในระดับมาก (Mean 4.01, SD 1.07) ปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลมีความสัมพันธ์กับการเตรียมความพร้อมก่อนเข้าวัยสูงอายุอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p < .05) โดยพบว่า อายุ และความคาดหวังเมื่อก้าวสู่วัยสูงอายุ มีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกกับการเตรียมความพร้อมฯ (r .172 และ .530 ตามลำดับ) ปัจจัยทำนายฯ พบว่า อายุ โรคประจำตัว รายได้เมื่อเทียบกับภาระค่าใช้จ่าย และความคาดหวังเมื่อก้าวสู่วัยสูงอายุ สามารถร่วมกันทำนายการเตรียมความพร้อมฯ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (R² .326, p < .05) ทั้งนี้ ความคาดหวังเมื่อก้าวสู่วัยสูงอายุเป็นตัวแปรที่มีอิทธิพลสูงสุด (β .530) ขณะที่รายได้เมื่อเทียบกับภาระค่าใช้จ่ายมีอิทธิพลต่ำสุด (β -.227) ดังนั้น การส่งเสริมการเตรียมความพร้อมด้านการเงินควรมุ่งเน้นการลดภาระหนี้สิน และส่งเสริมการออมเพื่อให้มีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีเมื่อเข้าสู่วัยสูงอายุ
