เด็กวัยเรียนเป็นวัยที่มีอีโก้สูงและมีลักษณะพัฒนาการของการวางรากฐานบุคลิกภาพอย่างหนึ่งคือความรู้สึกภาคภูมิใจในตัวเองหรือความรู้สึกด้อย เริ่มมีความเป็นตัวเองสูง ซึ่งในช่วงที่มีการระบาดหนักของโควิต 19 ได้มีการดำเนินชีวิตวิถีใหม่ โดยจากกรณีศึกษานักเรียนอายุ 12 ปี เรียนออนไลน์และผลการเรียนต่ำทำให้เกิดความเครียดและวิตกกังวลจึงตัดสินใจรับประทานยาพาราเซตามอลเกินขนาด 24 เม็ด ซึ่งการรับประทานยาพาราเซตามอลเกินขนาดถ้าระดับความเข้มข้นของยาในกระแสเลือดมากกว่า 200 ไมโครกรัมต่อเดซิลิตรภายใน 4 ชั่วโมงหลังรับประทาน จะมีโอกาสเกิดภาวะพิษต่อตับ ซึ่งถูกกำหนดให้เป็นเกณฑ์การเฝ้าระวังทั่วโลก เมื่อเด็กรับประทานยาแล้วโพสน์ลงทางสตอรี่ มารดาควรเฝ้าระวังและติดตามเด็กอย่างใกล้ชิด รวมถึงนำคำแนะนำโดยใช้หลักการปลูกวัคซีนใจจากแนวคิดครอบครัวเป็นศูนย์กลาง ทราบและเข้าใจเกณฑ์การเฝ้าระวังภาวะการรับประทานยาพาราเซตามอลเกินขนาด จึงจะสามารถนำเด็กส่งโรงพยาบาลได้ทันโดยที่เด็กไม่มีภาวะตับถูกทำลายจากการรับประทานยาพาราเซตตามอลเกินขนาด
